In the early 70’s my mom worked at the Gütermann factory on the outskirts of Paris. I remember our excitement of filling up suitcases of thread to send to family back in Cameroon. Hi friends! This patch is traveling in Europe with a lovely customer. Our patches are full of memories; the yellow piece in this patch came from our own travels to France in 2007 where our youngest took their first steps. The other fabrics are from Cameroon. When our art travels and crosses rivers, oceans, and borders it fills us with joy. Feels good to see how art takes on new forms-the yellow thread and hand-stitching add so much light. Let's keep on co-creating! New patches and journals are in the store!

Hi! We’re excited to join Lyric and be a part of this grassroots community of artists! This was our rookie art fair summer and we had an incredible time sharing stories of patches, journals, scraps, culture, and art all around Minnesota. The wind and storms broke three of our tents by the end of the summer! Looking forward to getting back to the studio and playing with fabric!
